Classes
Classes are conducted in a group format. Students meet for weekly two hour sessions that include music theory, instrument instruction, vocal training and performance development. There are four levels of instruction, each of them increasingly more challenging.

Beginners
This class is for all newcomers. There are no requirement for previous experience in music or singing. Students must be at least 6 years of age, be able to read, write and follow directions. At this level the student will learn how to read notes, develop a sense of rhythm and tempo. Students will also have the opportunity to begin performing both in class and at special events.
Mondays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Intermediate
This class is for students who have at least one year of music instruction, can recognize basic notes, play major scales on an instrument and be are able to play and sing three to five songs.
Tuesdays 7-9p.m.
Advanced
Students must have one or more years instruction in mariachi music and be able to read and memorize music. They must also play by heart at least 10 simple mariachi songs.
Wednesdays 7-9 p.m.
Vanguard
Students must have at least two years music instruction and performing experience. They must read music and be able to play at least 20 songs of the mariachi repertoire.
Thursdays 7-9 p.m.
